City Colfax Bus Rapid Transit team members presented information about the current round of Business Impact Opportunity grants for businesses between Colorado Boulevard and Glencoe Street on Wednesday, August 19. Here’s a link to the presentation

This grant is intended to support small businesses that have been impacted by specified city-funded construction projects. Applicants may apply for a one-time grant, with grant amount being based on the annual gross revenue tier:

  • $7,500 for businesses with annual gross revenue equal to or less than $100,000
  • $15,000 for businesses with annual gross revenue greater than $100,000

Colfax BRT Chat at Owl Saloon

Businesses are invited to join the Colfax BRT project team for the September Chats on Colfax. This month, in addition to regular updates about BRT construction, they will have speakers from RTD and the Denver Police Department to talk about the safety benefits of the East Colfax bus rapid transit. Pizza and refreshments will be provided.

Station Construction Ahead of Schedule

The Colorado Boulevard and Cherry Street stations, with the white arches, will be complete this fall. Currently the Elm Station is scheduled for completion in early 2026.
